How to Make Sea Moss Gel

Step 1: Wash the sea moss thoroughly to rinse away the salt. As it is wildcrafted and fresh from the sea, you may find small pieces of rock attached — simply remove these.

Step 2: Place in a container and soak in water for 8–24 hours.

Step 3: Drain and rinse again. The sea moss will have become translucent and expanded in size.

Step 4: Blend with distilled or spring water until thick. Pour into a glass jar and refrigerate. Once in gel form, keep refrigerated and use within 3 weeks.
